Office Hours, Callout and More Updates! Oh my!
Hey! We now officially have office hours! You can see them to the right, there. Also, our callout is coming up! It’s gonna be the 8th of September from 7-8 in Lawson 1106. You should come check it out. We’ll have free pizza! And who doesn’t like free pizza, right?
Also, I’ve made a couple more updates to the website. Most notably, I added a mobile version of our website, which you can get to by scanning the 2D barcode to the right with your Android phone, or by going to purduelug.org. Awesome stuff, no? I’ve also added a google sitemap and some google analytics. If they’re really interesting I’ll keep you up to date. If not, I won’t. That simple.
I’ll do my best to keep this updated throughout the year, but hopefully our President and Treasurer will do some posting as well! Have a good semester, and come check us out!
Website updated
Hey guys! I’m your new Vice President! Apparently this job includes website development. If you can’t tell, I’ve made a few major changes to the website, the most noticable is probably the theme. I’ve also upgraded wordpress to the latest version, activated akismet (spam filter), and added a few plugins and widgets and whatnot. I plan to keep this site a little bit more up-to-date then it has been in the past…and we’re going to start that by having our weekly meeting minutes posted. That’ll happen as soon as I get the weekly minutes. And decide how to upload them. If you don’t like this new theme, or have anything you want to modify with the site, comment here or shoot me an email, or come by my office hour.
Office Hours Permanently Moved
I hope you guys all had a fun spring break and are enjoying being back at Purdue. Starting this week, I’m moving my office hours from 6-7pm to 4:20-5:20pm. This ends up working better with my schedule and I think it’ll work better for you guys as well so you don’t have to come back to campus late in the evening. You can come in whenever during office hours to chat, get help with linux or free software, or check out one of our many cool books. Hope to see you guys there.
Office Hours: Thursdays 4:20-5:20pm LWSN B128
Fall 2009 Callout

If you’d like to be involved in planning out this semester, I will be holding an office hour in the PLUG office (LWSN B128) on Thursdays from 6-7pm. I hope that the office hour can eventually evolve into a regular meeting time if possible.
Our callout will be on Thurs, Sept. 10 at 7pm in BRNG 1230. Free pizza and drinks!
